Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) collaborated with Fossil in a sponsored course to combine real life scenarios, provided in part by Fossil, designed to give exposure to real world design process in the research and development of concepts for proposal of new experiences and functionality for retail goods, which may be based on Skagen designs and content for retail goods.
As an Industrial Design team lead, I had the challenge of keeping the new product range brand-right. Learning about Scandinavian design principles was a great opportunity in this project. This project was also unique in a sense that I could use service design methodologies to develop functions and customer experience around physical products as well as digital interfaces.
Due to Non Disclosure Agreement details of the project cannot be shown online but I can talk about process and learnings in one to one conversation.
