At Displaycraft Inc., I developed original concepts tailored to client needs, refined them in CAD with ongoing customer feedback, and produced photorealistic renders for final approval. Clients often received multiple configurations (colors, merchandising approaches, lighting options, etc.) through these renders.
I engineered the chosen concept and prepared detailed prototype drawings. Through self-assessment and client feedback on functionality, I finalized the design for mass production. I also provided continual support to in-house manufacturing throughout.
The engaging aspect of this job was developing custom fixture solutions for distinct needs. I enjoyed tackling varied and challenging display projects, spanning a wide range of scales and applications. Projects were fast-paced and crossed industries such as flooring, beverages, consumer goods, and pharmaceuticals.
I gained substantial experience with in-house manufacturing processes involving wood, metal (sheet metal, tubing, welding), and plastics. Clients frequently relied on me to create graphics at both the initial concept and final production stages.
