I made this bird house during a class project at SCAD. Made out of Sapele, this unique pentagon shaped bird house features two perches at the top.
Orthographic Views and Dimensions
The bottom panel is attached to the sides using a finger joint. It was challenging to make the finger joint work at a non-90-degree angle. Similarly, the bird house tapers on all sides at the bottom. Figuring out the compound angles and cutting the panels was challenging.
